Jerry,
I have been blessed with a tremendous number of friends from a number of places and countries around the world. But you will always be one of the most important people in my life. And when I say "always be" that means for a really long time! And as you know you are daily in my heart when I go to the Lord each morning in prayer. We hope to see you all again soon (at a wedding maybe?)
We love you all so very much Jerry.

Best of luck. Remember the things that matter most are the friends and family that support you and all other things come second.

Hi Jer,
You know who this is right? I'm sure one of the few that call you "JER!"
Yep, it's Mar from Kentucky! You know if someone is willing to read something I write I am going to write it! LOL
You are going to be back enjoying your family, golfing, working, etc. in no time; it's hard to keep a good man down!
You are a dear friend with a true sense of the definition of a friend which you exhibit throughout your life; loyal to a fault!
All will be fine; God is watching over you! God bless you Jerry!

Jerry -
Last Monday (when your boys were there)in the production meeting;we were discussing your upcoming surgery and to see the pain in your son's faces - it was heart wrenching!

You listen to people tell their stories of what they are going through or have to go through with sympathy and understanding but very seldom do you realize not only the agony they are feeling but how their families are affected as they watch their loved ones go through lifes challenges.

Seeing your sons made me realize this about you, Jim, and TJ. I am thankful for you all and have said many prayers! I can tell by the expression on your sons faces you are very blessed by the love they have for you!

The very best for you my friend; you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers ~ God's speed!

Sweetheart,

I know that I tell you each & everyday of our lives but.....I love you more than anything in this world. You are the most amazing husband & father that any woman could ever ask for. You are that one person that always gives 200% to the people that you love & you are always trying to make life better for others. Your spirit...your character...well, it's simply amazing. You are one of those rare people that are loved by everyone that meets you. As for this surgery...it's just a bump in the road of our wonderful life together. It's going to be just fine because I'll be right by your side...& will never leave you for a minute & we can do anything if we have each other.....right???? I love you darlin always & forever....

Jerry,
It's your "little" brother here....I know we have had our talk but I want you to know how much I LOVE my big brother...I know GOD hears all our prayers & I know he will hear mine so...Next Friday when you are headed down that hallway...I will be reaching out & asking that he take care of you!I can't wait till the next time that we are able to share each others company & this will behind you.I am comforted by the fact that you will be surrounded by our family & friends & I know that you will get past this hurdle. I Love you big brother & I will be reading this daily as well as calling ALOT...I may not be able to be there in person but I promise that I will be right by your side in spirit & emotionally...Again...I love ya Jerry & I can't wait for your full recovery....There has to be a round of golf in there sometime!

Hey Little Brother...It's your Sis! Just a note to say..I Love you and can't wait to see you on Tuesday!! I will be there to love, help, and encourage you as you go thru what I believe to be the most emotional battle anyone can go thru before surgery! As you are aware, I have been there and know what you are going thru, but us Garlands are strong and if your sister can make it, you can too!!!!
My only question for you is.....are you gonna be able to put up with me for 7 days????? Only time will tell..lol

Love ya,
Your Sister :)
